Archer at its best – as display type combined with a geometric sans serif, in small doses.

A test run produced a delayed call – about 3 minutes after I input my number – from a (208) area code, and then a really creepy robotic voice announcing: “IT LOOKS LIKE YOU’VE FOUND YOUR PHONE. HAVE A GOOD DAY.” Good idea, nonetheless.

VSA Partners for Mohawk Paper

I’m happy to see Archer being used in very handsome ways lately. This was featured on FPO yesterday and I’m searching desperately on Mohawk’s website to see if they’re still order-able for free. I don’t think so but I got myself a bunch of other delicious paper samples in the process! See more full-page spreads in Archer from Mode of Transportation here.

Get out, See a (Indie) Movie.

I know that we have pointed out the extensive use of Archer in Newsweek before. But I wanted to take this opportunity to encourage our “many” readers to get out and see DOUCHEBAG. The very talented Ben York Jones, who happens to be a film school buddy of mine, co-stars in this Sundance hit. Go support indie film!
